If you suffer from tension headaches, or, at the end of a long-day your neck and shoulders are crying out for relief, this course is for you. Perhaps, you think, a massage is the answer. But then, the next day, your shoulders and neck have returned to their habitual crankiness.
What we need, in this era of Shoulder 9-1-1 is not a band-aid, like a massage, but a plan for Re-Hab and repair. First, I teach you how to relax your neck and shoulders and develop body awareness, so that you can feel the tension creeping in. Chances are your shoulders have not been moving as much as they need to, so we will practice some dynamic movement. Then, we use Yoga Tune Up® self-massage balls (or a simple pair of tennis balls in a sock will also be fine) to work out the tension. Now, you are ready to build strength and help your shoulders carry not only the emotional load you bear and that really classy tote as well!
This is really more of a workshop than a course! I offer you two full versions that each take nearly an hour. One includes self-massage work on the wall, which is kinder and gentler. The other version includes self-massage work on the floor, which is more challenging. You can begin on the wall and perhaps transition to the floor. Either version of the workshop will help you immensely! And, I offer you each version as a separate video so that you can give your neck and shoulders just the right delicious movement morsel they need at the time they need it.
